Purchasing Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for their Dartmouth location. This is a contract opportunity.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day to day purchasing functions including, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining purchase orders
  • Ensuring purchase orders are coded appropriately
  • Tracking work orders
  • Obtaining all required approvals and order details
  • Reviewing and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Developing a keen understanding and accuracy of the material requirements
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in business or accounting
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a purchasing role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Excel and accounting software
