Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking a CPA, CA bilingual in French for their office in the Halifax Regional Municipality. This is a permanent opportunity.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, responsibilities will include:
- Month-end accounting and financial reporting, including consolidations
- Financial statement preparation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash management and reporting
- Researching various accounting issues
- Other accounting, finance, and special project responsibilities as required
The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, along with a minimum of three years’ related accounting experience in a public accounting firm. Your track record and accomplishments demonstrate that you are an effective leader with strong communication, analytical and problem resolution skills. A confident individual, you are comfortable taking initiative and work well independently as well as in a team. Additionally, you demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail, the ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a high degree of confidentiality. Solid understanding of IFRS is essential for this role. Bilingual in French is required.
