Accounts Receivable Administrator

Our client, a well-known name in the seafood industry is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator for their office in Shediac, New Brunswick. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent with a successful and diligent team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Record and post client payments
  • Process EFT, cheque, and wire transfers
  • Enter transactions
  • Track unpaid and outstanding invoices
  • Some collections if required
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ accounts receivable experience
  • Previous experience in the seafood, agricultural, or manufacturing industries an asset
  • Proficiency with Simply Accounting software is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Open communication and professional approach
  • Flexibility and willingness to pitch-in wherever needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team oriented approach and desire to contribute to vibrant group
