Our client is seeking an Interim Part-Time Controller for their Halifax office. This is a contract position lasting approximately 3 months, working 3 days a week. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, hardworking individual who is looking to contribute to a busy, community focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Month-end working papers and spreadsheets maintenance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • GL reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Government remittances
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in related position
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Above average communication skills
  • Superior accuracy and attention to detail
