Our client, a successful organization, is seeking an Financial Services Officer for their location in Halifax. This is a contract opportunity. Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Services Officer will be predominately processing and balancing payments of all invoices for the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing transactions
  • Recording accounts payable cheques
  • Preparing monthly HST returns
  • Managing daily bank deposits
  • Cheque requisitions
  • Other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • College diploma with a concentration in administration or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 year hands-on experience, preferably in a client focused collaborative environment
  • Dedicated and self-motivated
  • Proven ability to work with a strong team under changing deadlines and priorities
