Financial Services Administrator 

Our client, a successful organization, is seeking a Financial Services Administrator for their tight-knit and dynamic team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a permanent opportunity. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will prepare timely financial statements for a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process financial statement entries for multiple locations
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare income statements
  • Review statements for accuracy
  • Ensure appropriate budget guidelines are represented
  • Maintain financial spreadsheets
  • Provide support to the Director of Finance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • College diploma with a concentration in business or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience, preferably in a client service collaborative environment
  • Prior experience in accounting for small businesses ideal
  • Fluency in MS Office Suite, QuickBooks, and/or Simply Accounting ideal
  • Above average time management and organizational skills
  • Dedicated and self-motivated
  • Proven ability to work with a strong team under changing deadlines and priorities
