Accounts Receivable Administrator

Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator for a permanent opportunity within their Halifax office. The successful candidate is an experienced, organized AR professional with strong organizational skills and accuracy when completing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily posting of bank deposits, credit card payments and wire transfers
  • Completing credit searches
  • Assisting to maintain records
  • Managing various month-end reports
  • Answering queries from clients and staff regarding AR
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education and/or a diploma with a focus in accounting
  • 2+ years working within a computerized accounting environment
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software
  • Previous experience working within a legal environment would be considered an asset
  • Superior ability to work with others
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage their time well and meet strict deadlines
