Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an 8-month contract position within their organization. This position is a hybrid role offering a combination of remote and in-person work within their Halifax office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounts payable
  • Posting invoices
  • Processing employee expense reports
  • Reconciling credit cards
  • Running EFT payments
  • Data entry into accounting system
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of accounts payable experience
  • Experience in academia would be a strong asset
  • Experience using Sage 300 software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Efficient and effective time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
