Accounts Receivable Administrator

Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator for a permanent opportunity within their Halifax office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording client payments within the accounting system
  • Account reconciliation
  • issuing credit and monitoring client credit
  • managing credit portfolios, preforming credit checks, assessing credit worthiness
  • Managing credit holds and approving shipments based on payment and credit history
  • Manage client balances and inquiries
  • Collect on overdue accounts via phone and email
  • Back up support for accounts payable duties


  • Superior customer service skills
  • Post-secondary education with a focus in accounting/finance is considered an asset
  • Minimum of five years related experience within an accounts receivable role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work within a team
