Financial Services Officer
We are seeking a Financial Services Officer for a 2.5-month contract located in downtown Halifax. The successful candidate will be an adaptable and experienced accounting professional with above average attention to detail.
- Maintenance of fund accounting records
- Interpretive analysis of financial information
- Analysis of budget expenditures & revenues
- Preparation of estimates
- Revising current accounting systems
- Other duties as required
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting
- 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting capacity
- Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered
- SAP experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel considered an asset
- Superior accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid communication skills with the ability communicate effectively
