Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract opportunity within their Halifax office. Supporting the accounting team who work with a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude and team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable processing
  • Financial reporting support
  • Financial filing and record keeping
  • T4 preparation and support
  • Other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Minimum two years’ previous AP experience
  • Previous Sage50 experience considered a strong asset
  • Ability to pick up on new processes quickly and work under pressure
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative
