Our client is seeking a Support Clerk for a contract position in their Halifax office. This is a wonderful opportunity for a hardworking, personable individual to join a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily deposits
  • Accounts payable
  • Respond to inquiries regarding accounts, payments and bursaries
  • Process payments
  • Other duties as required

 Requirements: 

  • Post-secondary education in business or accounting
  • 2+ years’ experience in an accounting support position
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Experience with Sage 50
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
  • Proven success in a team-oriented environment
