Cash Application Clerk

Our client is seeking an immediate Cash Application Clerk for their Halifax office to assist with accounting support duties. This is a contract opportunity with an established, thriving organization.

The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service experience along with time management and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing daily cash receipts
  • Depositing cheques using desktop banking scanner
  • Performing customer account reconciliations
  • Enter payment data
  • Producing daily reports
  • Other accounting duties as required

 Key Requirements:

  • Some post-secondary college education in accounting preferred
  • Strong ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment along with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
