Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Bookkeeper to provide accounting services for their office in Dartmouth. This is a 4-week contract opportunity offering a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for day to day bookkeeping including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, preparing financial statements, payroll processing, HST and payroll remittances, and other monthly accounting.
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education with a concentration in accounting combined with a minimum of 3 years’ full cycle bookkeeping experience. Key qualities for this position include strong technical accounting skills and analytical abilities combined with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience using QuickBooks is required for this position.
