Accounting & Administrative Assistant
Our growing and thriving client in Dartmouth is seeking an Accounting & Administrative Assistant. This is a contract opportunity for approximately two months.
Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of accounting and administrative support to the accounting team. Primary duties will include:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- High volume filing
- Respond to phone and email inquiries
- Day to day office organization
As the ideal candidate, you have completed post-secondary education at the college or university level with a focus in accounting and have gained a minimum one year hands-on, relevant experience.
Combining superior multi-tasking and time management skills, you work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Additionally, you are a task-oriented individual with the ability to jump between tasks while maintaining efficiency. As an experienced and confident candidate, you think on your feet, make clear decisions, and work well independently.
