Part-time Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a Part-time Accounting Manager for their office in Bayside. This is a contract opportunity for approximately 3 – 4 months.
As the primary Accountant for this organization, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable and receivable processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash flow reporting weekly
- Weekly deposits
- Maintain petty cash
- Payroll processing for approximately 40 staff
- Monthly financial and weekly sales reporting
- Financial statement preparation
- Respond to customer account inquiries
- Budget preparation
As the ideal candidate, you have completed a post-secondary degree with a focus in accounting and gained minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting experience. While not required, candidates who are working towards or have completed a CPA designation will also be considered.
With strong technical accounting skills, you are a capable, highly organized, and adaptable individual. Combining excellent communication skills and a pleasant attitude, you work well in an independent environment while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems is required (QuickBooks an asset).
