Our Client is currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator for a permanent opportunity for their Halifax office. Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate has a strong attention to detail and exceptional work ethic.

Key responsibilities:

  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accounts payable support
  • Accounting schedules and working papers in Excel
  • Billing back-up
  • Other accounting support as required

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in business or accounting
  • At least 1-2 years experience in similar role
  • Above average skills in Excel
  • Strong ability to work in a team setting
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities
