Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Financial statement preparation and management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Staff supervision
- Development and implementation of internal processes and controls
- Monthly and annual financial reporting and closing
- Cash flow reporting, monitoring and analysis
- General ledger maintenance
- Other general accounting duties as required
As the ideal candidate for the position, you have completed a Chartered Professional Accountant designation and have a minimum of six years’ total experience. Self-motivated, you thrive in a deadline driven environment and creating value. Your track record and accomplishments reflect your superior attention to detail and problem resolution skills. Additionally, you combine a confident and diplomatic communication style with the ability to take initiative and achieve desired results. Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or real estate is a strong asset.
